Remembering NobleIt wasn't an impending air raid, but it sure sounded like one. The girl moaned and rolled over in her bed, her eyes fluttering open unwillingly. She tried to reach for her alarm clock, but got tangled in her sheets and, in the ensuing struggle to get free, fell out of bed, taking her covers with her. She landed in a heap on the floor and made an "oof" sound, then extricated herself awkwardly and staggered to her feet, finally able to turn the hated device off.

Chapter One

The first thought that entered his head was that he didn't remember going to sleep.

Sensory input increased as he came to, his enhanced senses taking in the different aspects of his surroundings. The air was vaguely cold and the smell resembled an odd combination of soured meat and metal. There were strange noises coming from all around, subtle sounds that only served to amplify his disorientation. When he opened his eyes, they strained to focus on what was directly in front of him, and that was the splay-jawed head of a Covenant Elite.

Thanks very much, I tried to keep as close to the human shaped Cortana as possible, in regards to her colour and markings (I gave her a "saddle" shaped data markings on her back for the mere pony effect) but thaaank you very much
